Ultimate Like-a-Little
What would you say if you found out that a stranger was searching for you? I logged onto Facebook today and saw a status from a guy I went to high school with. Apparently at some point this morning, he saw an absolutely beyond beautiful girl leave Starbucks as he was ordering his coffee. He noticed that she was wearing a Scripps College umbrella and is now determined to find this girl. He even...

You know you have watched too many reruns of Friends, when you quote it in everyday life. Could I BE anymore addicted?

It has been a while since I was last on here. I have changed. Tumblr has changed. I am sure that you have changed as well. Hello again. I am back from my long hiatus in London. I loved every minute away, but I am glad to be back in the comfort of home.

Last Night
This is my last night in the States. As you can see on the post below, I created a blog specifically for writing about my experiences in London. It will be more like a journal with a few pictures, but I will still be updating this one on a regular basis.
I am so excited! Hello foggy ol’ London town. :)

Ten days until I am off on an adventure in London. Right now, I feel as though it will not happen. Something will prevent me from getting on the airplane. It is just so surreal. I can not believe I will be studying in London for five months.
On a side note, my friend and I decided to go to Hooters on Friday, because we have heard from several people that guys do not just go for the girls....

Crest or Aquafresh?
Some people are early risers. Others sleep as late as possible. Some people love animals. Others can not keep even a goldfish alive. Some people love the window seat on an airplane. Others stay as far away from the window as possible. Some people feel destined to leave where they grew up. Others feel content with where they are.
My sister and I grew up in the same house, but we are...

I received an email from my host mom today. She is 62 and has two cats, Zoe and Zizi. She seems really nice and has been hosting students for over 14 years. I am really excited to meet her and begin my London adventure.
Only 22 more days!

Washington State
Did you know? Before Washington became a state, the territory was called Columbia (named after the Columbia River). When it was granted statehood, the name was changed to Washington, supposedly so people wouldn’t confuse it with The District of Columbia. Well, I am glad that was cleared up…

Hello 2011
This is going to be a good year. I can feel it. I decided to make a plan for the new year. I guess you could call this my own personal resolution list. Here we go.
1. Live spontaneously.
2. Travel to as many European cities as possible.
3. Turn twenty-one.
4. Stick to your dreams, whatever they may be.
5. Resist the urge and do not waste time making lists. (oops…)

A day in Seattle with the family is just what I needed. My brother showed us his office at Russell in downtown. They have a huge balcony that looks over Puget Sound. The sun was shining today, so we could see the Cascades and Mount Rainier. It was an amazing view. My brother is a lucky guy.
